All, few thoughts, unpaid dues: why are these people still working, been on both sides as far as union and non union, I have my thoughts, cable bill is due!! so are your dues!I welcome all opinions, pros and cons. Paul Mercier card #7100755 |

It's simple mathematics's , and in the end if you don't pay your dues there may NOT be a Union around. Working due's in good times sustain the hall and the majority of the Union dues goes to the IO, your local only see's that one hour's pay (if your a JW) if you anything else the hall only see's $10.
It really comes down to a personal decisions and how we layout of lives, I believe the Union is a big and good part of mine and I decide to pay my dues in advance, always will, I hope everyone else does to......

Scott, I have worke in other locals and found that their was more pride and trust working with a dues paying member. Usually the fact is- no paid receipt, no work.I also pay my dues in advance[yearly] I just think we need to enforce it more and its not because we are a right to work state because I worked in other states and if you did not have your dues paid ,you were turned around at the door. |
